Mrs. Jean Hunt Swing Plummer age 79 of Colonial Drive, Lexington, NC died Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Duke Medical Center after a sudden illness.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 7 at Becks Reformed Church conducted by Rev. Gerald Sanders. Burial will follow at Becks Reformed Church Cemetery.
The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the residence on Colonial Drive.
Mrs. Plummer was born June 14, 1932 in Davidson County to Edward Sylvester Hunt and Viola Hilliard Hunt. She was the retired co-owner of Swing Rural Garbage Service and a member of Becks Reformed Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Bryan Swing in 1988, by a sister Ruth Louya and her husband Joe, by a brother Edward Hunt, Jr. her stepmother, Ethel K. Hunt and her second husband Ray Plummer in 2010.
She is survived by sons, Darrell R Swing and Eddie B. Swing and wife Jerrie all of Lexington; granddaughters, Misty Delbridge and husband Toby, Megan Swing and Morgan Swing all of Florida.; great grandchildren, Cooper and Lola Delbridge; brother Don Hunt and wife Carol of Lexington; Sister-in law Jean Hunt of Lexington; special daughter Sandy Vawters and husband David and their children; nephews Greg and Randy Louya and wife Tammy; niece, Melissa Oldham; aunt, Catherine McKee and husband Jim of Florida; and special friends of Biscuit King and basket classes.
