Jean Ripple

Jean Davidson Ripple, age 85 of Carolina House formerly of Hinkle Lane, Welcome passed away Wednesday (July 28, 2010) at Carolina House. Graveside service will be 11:00 am Saturday (July 31, 2010) at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Stephen Pillsbury officiating. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday night. Jean was born in Tippecanoe County, Indiana to John Davidson and Mary Souders Davidson. She was a homemaker and was a member of Center United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Robert Lee Ripple on February 2, 2000. Surviving are; one daughter Jane Schweizer and husband Udo of Charlotte; two sons, Ron Ripple and wife Linda of Lexington and Mark Ripple of Mooresville; five grandchildren, Jennifer Ripple, Meredith Morse, Anatol Schweizer, Adrian Schweizer and Sven Schweizer; and four great-grandchildren; one sister LaRue Woolridge of Lafayette, Indiana; two brothers, Jim Davidson of Lafayette, Indiana and Max Davidson of Zyphryhills, Florida.
