Jean Potter Smith

Jean Potter Smith, 85, of Winston Salem passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Hinkle Hospice. A graveside service will be 10 am Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Salisbury National Cemetery.

Jean was born September 2, 1935 in Duplin County to Ernest Rudolph Potter Sr. and Helen Hill Potter.  She graduated from James A. Gray High School and retired from Weyerhaeuser. Her parents, a brother, Ernest Rudolph Potter Jr.and sister, Mary Ann Mabe all preceded her in death.

Surviving are her loving husband of 58  Years, Virgil Lee Smith of the home. Her sister, Janice Chambers of Winston Salem and family friends, Mark and Sabrina Moore.
