Jean Wagner Wagner, 88, formerly of C.L. Wagner Road, died Friday, November 13, at Asbury Care Center in Charlotte.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am Monday, November 16 at Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Revs. Danny Miller and Chris Westmoreland.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service in the Family Life Center.
Mrs. Wagner was born April 7, 1927 in Davidson County to Joseph Vaughn Wagner and Mittie Pennix Wagner. She was a graduate of City Memorial School of Nursing in Winston Salem and was a registered nurse for 61 years. She also served in the US Navy Nurse Corps. Her husband, Charles Lee Wagner, Jr, her infant daughter, Marylyn Wagner, and her grandchildren, Charles Lee Wagner, IV and Jillian Wagner, preceded her in death,
She is survived by her son, Charles Lee Wagner III and wife, Debbie, of Peachtree City, GA; her daughters, Penny Taylor and husband, Larry, of Lenoir, and Kim Tennant and husband, Jeff, of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Mackenzie Bradshaw, Jack Taylor, Neil Taylor, Cooper Tennant, and Corey Carrico; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Peyton and Emmit.
