Jeanette Cooper, 71, of Davidson County, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Hinkle Hospice House.

Jeanette was born on February 4, 1953, in Davidson County, to the late James Alex Thomason and Jeraldine Hedrick Thomason. She worked for many years as a Teacher’s Assistant and was loved by all her kids. She had a special place in heart for her students and especially enjoyed her fifth graders.

Jeanette loved working with flowers and was known for her beautiful arrangements. She had an eye for them, and her creativity was displayed during events, including her children’s weddings.

Above all, she cherished her loved ones and was a completely devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Jeanette loved with all she had, and it was evident that the deepest part of her heart was her family.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Danny Cooper, of the home; sons, Jonathan Cooper (Angela), of Lexington, and Chris Cooper (April), of Lexington; daughter, Stephanie Wall (Chris), of Randleman; sister, Elizabeth “Libby” Lopp (Ronnie), of Lexington; grandchildren, Kaden Cooper, Katelyn Cooper, Cassidy Young (Casey), and Jerry “Trey” Scott (Anna); and great grandchildren, Amelia Scott, and Liam Young.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to all those at Hinkle Hospice House who went above and beyond with their care they gave to Jeanette and her family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way Lexington, NC 27292, or to First Alliance Church, 1370 Arnold Rd. Lexington, NC 27295.
