Jeannie Wofford Byerly

Jeannie Wofford Byerly 72 of Lexington passed away January 1, 2023, at Lexington Medical Center. A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday January 5, 2023, at Reeds United Methodist Church where she was a member conducted by Rev. Wesley Hall. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends from 1-2 prior to the service. Her body will lie in state from 3-5 pm Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home however the family will not be present.

Mrs. Byerly was born March 25, 1950, in Davidson County to Samuel Wofford and Norine Sink Wofford. Her parents a daughter, Lori Byerly, and a brother in law, Larry McCollough  all preceded her in death.

Surviving are her husband, of 54 years James Byerly of the home. A son Greg Byerly (Karen) of Lexington.  A grandson, Caleb Byerly of Lexington. Her dad, Frank Weant of Lexington. Sisters and Brother: Peggy McCullough, Sherry Wilson (Jeff) all of Lexington, Lisa Williams of Winston Salem and Tony Wofford (Pam) of Lexington.

Memorials may be made to Reeds UMC Church or Hospice of Davidson County.
