Jeff Lynn Comer

Jeffrey Lynn Comer, age 57 of Lake Drive 10 Lexington passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center after a sudden illness.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 12, 2021at Central Baptist Church with Revs. Jeff Perdue and Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, social distancing and a mask are requested for the service. Jeff will lie in state at Davidson Funeral Home on Thursday from Noon until 4:00 PM for viewing and signing register.

Jeff was born in Davidson County March 25, 1963 to Joe Earl Comer and Kathleen Baxter Comer. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and an employee of Myers Tool and Machine with over 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Terry Joe Comer. Jeff never met a stranger, he loved to laugh and pull pranks on people, but he had a big heart and would do anything to help you if you needed it. He will definitely be missed by his family and friends especially by his grandchildren who he loved and cherished.

Surviving are his loving wife of 22 years, Rita Crisp Comer of the home; daughter, Diana Crenshaw of High Point; step-son, Kevin Potts, Jr. of Churchland; grandchildren, Cory Clontz and Leslie Clontz.
