Jeff Ivey

Jeffrey “Jeff” Lynn Ivey passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2026, in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, with Pastor Jeremy Benbrooks officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Jeff was born on October 21, 1961, to Joseph Cicero Ivey and Joretta Greer Ivey. An avid NC State fan, Jeff had a lifelong love for sports. He especially enjoyed baseball and spent many years coaching children in the West Davidson community, sharing his love of the game and making a lasting impact on the young people he coached. Above all, Jeff loved his family. His son and granddaughters held a special place in his heart, and he treasured the time he was able to spend with them. He also enjoyed the faithful companionship of his K-9 companion, Ace. In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Berrier Ivey.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Chris Ivey (Lauren); granddaughters, Olivia and Harper; brother, Jackie Ivey (Melissa); sisters, Kim Huffman (Michael) and Kelly Ivey; and a host of nieces and nephews.
