Jeffrey Hines

Jeffrey Cullen Hines, 52, of Denton, died Sunday, April 18, 2010, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Beck's Lutheran Church by the Revs. Ray and Ruth Ann Sipe. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Mr. Hines was born on Jan. 11, 1958, in Davidson County to William Vanhoy Hines and Margie Hudspeth Hines. He was a lift operator at J.E. Jones Lumber Co., with 25 years of service and a member of Central Fire Department. Jeffrey was a member of Beck's Lutheran Church and a proud Girl Scout dad. Preceding him in death was a brother, William Cloys, and a sister, Mary Margaret Younts. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Cathy Routh Hines of the home; a son, Zackery Hines and wife Christen of Lexington; daughters, Jennifer Hines of Lexington and Alexi Hines of the home; three grandsons, Henry Cullen Hines, Abel Maikel Costilla and Izayah Holden; a sister, Brenda Davis and husband Danny of Statesville; a brother-in-law, Robert Younts and wife Julie of Lexington; and several nieces and nephews.
