Jeffrey Eugene Queen, 58, of Abram Young Road in Lexington passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem after a five year battle with kidney disease.
A private graveside service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens with Pastor Thomas Frizzell conducting services.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, those attending the graveside service are ask to practice social distancing and to wear a face cover.
Mr. Queen was born January 19, 1962 in Davidson County to Oscar Eugene Queen and Judy Curry Queen. He attended Summerville Baptist Church. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his mother; a step son, Ben Peacock and a step daughter, Stephanie Easter; and his step mother Betty Meadows Queen.
Surviving is his wife, Patricia Carroll Surratt Queen of the home; a son, Nicholas Queen, of Blacksburg, South Carolina; a daughter, Amanda Queen of Blacksburg South Carolina; a brother, Greg Strickland (Barbara) of Statesville; two sisters, Rhonda McCurdy and Tracy Tate (Greg), both of High Point, 3 grandchildren, Alex Easter, Kasey Easter and Darby Easter; 7 great-grandchildren; his beloved dogs, Ollie and Daisy, and his pet Opossum.
