Jeffrey Lynn Thompson, 38, of Wayne Love Dr., Lexington went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 10, 2014. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Linwood United Methodist Church with Revs. Benny Clodfelter and Renee K. Easter officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, April 18, 2014 at Davidson Funeral Home.Jeffrey was born October 21, 1975 to Steven Ross Thompson and Nancy Carolyn Motley Thompson. He was an Arborist and was of the Methodist faith. Surviving are his wife, Laura Sutton Thompson of Lexington; his parents; a Step Mother, Jeanette Thompson; two step-sons, Colton Hege, Cameron Mize both of Lexington; a brother Brian Ross Thompson (Lisa) , of Lexington; a sister, Elizabeth Howard (Joe) of Lexington;grandparents, Elise Motley and Tyler Thompson, both of Lexington; a step-brother, Shane Hathcock, a step-sister, Stefanie Copley (Scott); and several nieces and nephews.
