Jennie Everhart Shoaf

Jennie Rae Everhart Shoaf, age 85 of West Center St. Ext, Lexington died Tuesday (May 11, 2010). Graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Friday (May 14, 2010) at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Avery Varnadore and Rev. Dan Walser officiating.   The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 12:30 until 1:30 pm Friday prior to the service.   Mrs. Shoaf was born in Davidson County, September 18, 1924 to Thomas Moses Everhart and Mildred Black Everhart.  She was a homemaker and a former employee of Manhattan Shirt Company. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Russell Foy Shoaf on July 22, 2001 two brothers, Leon and Joe Everhart.   Surviving are; two daughters, Judy Dorsett and husband Richard and Joyce Fritts and husband Steve all of Lexington; five grandchildren, Tonya York and husband Johnny, Dana Harris and husband Richard, Robin Frye and husband Terry, Chris Dorsett and Kim Morrow; six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jean Sink, Barbara McCrary and Janet Mahaffey all of Lexington; two brothers, Dwight and Boyd Everhart of Lexington.   The family ask that memorials be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC  27292   Arrangements by Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington.     Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
