Jeron was baptized and grew up in the Bethany Church family. Rev. Caitlin McAlhany and Rev. Dr. Chuck Hutchins will be officiating the service.
Jeron was born in Lexington on July 3, 2002 to Sid and Carol Gallimore. He graduated valedictorian of his 2020 class from Central Davidson High School. Along with graduating #1 in his class at CDHS, he earned his Associate’s Degree from DCCC by his high school graduation. At CDHS, Jeron was the Student Body President, Josten’s Award winner, Faculty Elected Graduation Speaker, Secretary of the National Honor Society, a Spanish Honor graduate, Tri-M Music Honor Society member, yearbook staff member, and the President/Secretary General of Model UN. He was a true leader in the Central Davidson community. While growing up, Jeron loved traveling with his family and godfamily, playing with his animals, and spending time with his lifelong friends.
Jeron attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he double majored in International Business and Hospitality Management, with a concentration in Event Design and Management. He was set to graduate in May of 2024. Jeron was a brother of the Delta Chi fraternity. In Las Vegas, he spent his time out with his friends, attending concerts and festivals, singing karaoke, going to the movies, driving around in his Jeep listening to music, playing video games, or loving on his two beloved cats, Paris and Lucy. His infectious spirit brought in both old and new faces each day; he was a true friend to all. He found the strongest sense of home in Vegas, tributing it all to the wonderful people he befriended during his time there. He found authenticity in himself in Vegas.
For the Fall 2023 semester, Jeron earned a spot into the Disney College Program at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL, where his older sister, Blake, also resides. His role was working in merchandise, where he would pick up shifts throughout the entire Disney property, whether in a park, resort, or at Disney Springs. Disney brought him a sense of escapism; he found happiness in the magic of Disney and loved being able to spread that magic to others. He and his sister grew up with a special bond over attending the parks together; they were best friends. He loved to take Disney Cruises with his entire family, seeing the magic fill the eyes of his niece, Emory Sue.
Above all, Jeron was kind. He would be the first one there to help any and everyone. He impacted so many with his sincerity, generosity and sense of humor. He understood people; his empathetic heart allowed him to feel the emotions that others felt. He would give the shirt off his back to make sure others were cared for. He articulated his love for people in the best ways. Jeron’s spirit and memory will live on for years to come.
Jeron is survived by his loving family; his parents Sid and Carol Gallimore; sister Blake Gallimore; brother and sister-in-law Trey and Logan Gallimore; niece and nephew, Emory Sue and Ivey Gallimore; grandparents Jerry and Betty Gallimore; godfamily Tony and Lori Greene and Sage and Kirston Cowles; loved ones Bobby and Diane Vanhoy; aunts and uncles, Cindy Walser and Mike Hines, Robert and Kathy Walser, David and Donna Chisholm, Suzanne and Dan Kuebler; cousins Kris and Kerrie, Stanley and Grace, Daphney and Sam, Nicole and Brad, Aiden, Addison, and Branson.
