Jerry Allen

Jerry Ray Allen, 67, of Lexington went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at WFBH-Winston Salem.

The family will receive friends from 2 pm until 3 pm on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Madison Heights Freewill Baptist Church.

Mr. Allen was born in Davidson County on June 28, 1953 to John Madison Allen and Nellie Irene Dryman Allen. He was a self-employed truck driver and a loving father and brother whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Comer Allen; and a brother, Johnny Allen.

Left to cherish his memory include his son, Jonathan Allen (Carrie) of Mississippi; two sisters, Shannon Jewel Allen and Betty Swicegood (Charles) both of Lexington; a nephew, Chris Elliott (Shannon) and a niece, Summer Canovai (Lance) all of Lexington.
