Jerry Franklin Bivens

Jerry Franklin Bivens 73 of County Home Road, Lexington passed away Saturday October 7, 2017. A Graveside Service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday October 10, 2017 at Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel  conducted by Preacher Clyde Akers and entombment to follow. The family will see friends on Monday night from 6-8 pm at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home.       Mr. Bivens was born February 8, 1944 in Davidson County to John Franklin Bivens and Oleta Bean Bivens. He was retired from Jarrett Lumber. He attended Freedom Missionary Baptist Church. His parents, sisters, Ruth Hughes, Martha Berrier  and brother, David  Bivens all preceded him in death.   Surviving are his wife, Neaty (Tootsie) Willett Bivens of the home.  Three Sons: Chris Bivens (Donna), Lynn Bivens (Linda) all of Lexington and Steve Bivens (Melissa) of Thomasville. Also surviving are five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Two sisters: Carol Sykes of Dallas and Linda Meadows of Lexington.   Memorials may be made to The Davidson County Animal Shelter 490 Glendale Road, Lexington NC 27292
