Jerry Brindle Sr., 72, of White Street in Lexington died Tuesday Feburary 4, 2020 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Friday at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Rev. David Langley conducting services.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.
Mr Brindle was born April 24, 1947 in Davidson County to Walter Brindle and Ruth Brindle. He retired form Piedmont Candy Factory as a packer, he also had worked for Dacotha Cotton Mill and Parkdale Mills. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Helen Byerly Brindle, two brothers, Richard Brindle and Garland Brindle; and one sister, Geraldine Thomason.
Surviving is two sons, Jerry Brindle Jr. and Johnathan Brindle; two daughters, Thelma Brindle and Tammy Wall (Darryl); one brother, Lewis Brindle; one sister, Sylvia Hunt; 10 grandhildren, Christopher Wall (Brittney, Brandon Wall (Amber), Jessica Ann Brindle Hughes( Josh), Shannon Marlow, Steven Marlow, Melanie Guy, Mercedes Millener, Emily Millener, Walter Brindle and Lilyanna Brindle; and 11 great-grandchildren.
