Jerry Wayne Davis

Jerry Wayne Davis, 62, of Linwood Southmont Road passed away Tuesday February 10, 2026, at his home.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm February 16, 2026, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug McGee officiating services. Buril will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday February 15, 2026, at Davidson Funeral Home.

Mr. Davis was born July 29, 1963, in Davidson County to William Stubin Davis and Frankie Irene Finley Davis. In his spare time Jerry enjoyed spending time on a lake or creek bedding fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Billy Davis; and four sisters, Mildred Davis, Evelyn Davis, Rosetta “Rose” Davis, and Midge Davis.

Surviving is his son, Dylan Groves of Archdale; his daughter, Crystal Pate (John) of Denton; five sisters, Peggy Davis of Lexington, Bobbie Butler (Bob) of Salisbury, Brenda Everhart (Ronald) of Lexington, Bonnie Jones (Jimmy) of Lexington, and Lois Coley (Richard) of Lexington; and 4 grandchildren, Jordan Groves, Austin Edwards, Jaxon Pate and Spencer Pate.
