Jerry Wayne Fox

July 30, 1944 — September 14, 2021

Jerry Wayne Fox accepted the call of a lifetime from his Lord and Savior on September 14, 2021. Jerry entered this world on July 30th, 1944 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Preston Willene Huffman and Jack Scott Fox. Jerry spent his childhood with three sisters (Sheila Leonard, Tammy Payne, and Mary Beth Corbett), two brothers (Bill Ludwick and Scotty Fox), Mamaw and Papaw Huffman before honorably serving in the United States Air Force from 1962 - 1967. Jerry joyfully retired from Stroh Brewery in 1999 and his electrical company, Reedy Creek Electrical in 2010. Jerry’s heart and soul went to his wife, Anne Ruth Fox and two children Brenda Fox McGrath (Michael) and Robert Michael Fox (Pam). Jerry spent the last 46 years traveling the world, shag dancing, and serving his community and Lord through his mission work with the love of his life, Anne. Jerry didn’t go a day without pouring knowledge and love into his five grandchildren (Edward Jacob Quintanilla, Ashley Fox Roberts, Donald Andrew Newell, Courtney Danielle Fox, and Brittney Newell Ringgold) and four great grandchildren (Lily Anne Fox-Scott, Sylus Andrew Scott, Chloe Jacqueline Roberts, and Ashton Wayne Roberts). Jerry would tell you that he is most grateful for the happiness his family brought him. Please join us in celebrating Jerry’s life on Friday September, 17th 2021 at 2:00 PM at Good Hope United Methodist Church where Jerry served faithfully. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Backpack Program at Good Hope United Methodist Church, a program that Jerry cherished deeply.
