Jerry Luther Fry

Jerry Luther Fry, 80, of Queens Road, died Friday, May 19, 2017, at Hinkle Hospice House.  A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Monday, May 22, at Davidson Funeral Home with the Rev. Frankie Matthews officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 4 to 6 p.m.  Mr. Fry was born August 24, 1936, in Rowan County, to Luther Adam Fry and Elizabeth Frick Fry. He was a self-employed Certified Public Accountant and a member of First United Methodist Church. Mr. Fry also served in the U.S. National Guard. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Oma Shepherd.  Surviving are his loving wife, Louise Goodman Fry of the home; sons, Chris Fry and wife Pam of Lexington and Tim Fry and wife Laura of Salisbury; and grandchildren, Jordan Fry, Casey Fry, Ethan Fry, and Ellen Fry.
