Jerry Lee Hill Sr.

Jerry Lee Hill Sr. 67 of  Arnold Road, Lexington passed away Monday May 21, 2018 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.   A funeral service will be 1;00 pm Friday May 25, 2018 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. John Rights and burial to follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Military rites.  The family will see friends from 6-8 pm Thursday  at the funeral home and at other times at their home.   Mr. Hill was born July 9, 1950 in  Mercer County, W. Virginia to Randall Edward Hill and Bertha Marie Redford Hill. He honorably served his country and retired from The United States Marines.  He loved his music. Preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Mary Elizabeth Hill and brothers, Eddie Lane Hill Sr., Randall Hill Sr. and a sister, Maxine Hill.    Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Bowman Hill of the home. His children, Jerry Lee Hill Jr.and  Teresa Lynn Hill both of Kernersville, Eddie Phillip Hill of Lexington and Becky Sue Brooks (Bill) of Lexington. His grandchildren, Phillip Hill, Lillian Brooks and Emmaleigh Brooks and several others. His sisters, Wanda Kirkpatrick of Alabama, Verna Dawson of W. Virginia and Melissa Kidd of Virginia. Also surviving are his friend and caregiver, Barry Kiger and his best friend, Mike Vernon.   Memorials may be made to Donors Choice.
