Jerry Lynn Jones

Jerry Lynn Jones, 65, of Lexington passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

A private service will be held in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, November 1, 2020 with Pastor Clyde Akers officiating, and will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/davidson.funeralhome . No formal visitation will be held.

Mr. Jones was born in Ridgewood, WV on August 3, 1955 to James Sheldon Jones. He was a former truck driver, having worked for R&L Carriers and was a loving husband and father whose memory will be cherished forevermore. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his brother, Joey Jones; and his mother and father in law, Kathryn and Maxwell Eanes.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 44 years, Tamie Eanes Jones of the home; his son, Christopher Scott Jones of the home; two sisters-in-law, Pam Jones of Lexington and Karen Eanes of FL; his nieces and nephews, Barry Scott Elkins, Joey Jones, Jamie Jones, and Casey Jones; and his precious K-9 companions, Bindy Sue and Chevy.
