Jerry Lee Shaw

Jerry Lee Shaw, 46 of West Sixth St., Lexington died Friday, November 18, 2011 at his home. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, November 21, 2011 in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Max Shoaf officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Mr. Shaw was born November 4, 1965 in Forsyth County to Jerry Lane Shaw and Ethel Jane Franklin Shaw. He was a self-employed Brick Mason and was of the Baptist faith. His father preceded him in death. Surviving are his mother; a son, Jeremy Shaw and his mother, Dana Koonts, his girlfriend, Catye Ricker and daughter, Jatye all of Lexington; two brothers, Tommy Shaw and girlfriend, Misty Stameyof Lexington, Michael Shaw and wife, Kristin of Belmont, NC; Nieces, Paxton Shaw of Belmont, Brittany Wynn of Lexington, Brooke Swing of Lexington and a Nephew, Logan Shaw of Lexington; cousins, Jimmy Franklin and wife, Zoorena of Lexington, Judy Nordahl of Walkertown and Loretta Causey of Lexington. The family would like to thank Hospice of Davidson, Hutchins Family, Koonts Family, Lewis Family, Kennedy Family and all friends and families for the support given to Jerry.
