Jerry Miller Sink

Jerry Miller Sink age 76 passed away Wednesday morning August 26, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Reedy Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Egbert Craven officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. The family will be at the home other times. Jerry was born in Davidson County on September 25, 1938 to Lawrence and Perry Miller Sink. He had worked as a mechanic with the City of Winston-Salem and was a member of Reedy Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mittie (Delnora) Phillips Sink and a sister Lula Sink Brewer. Surviving are a son, Greg Phillips (Debbie); step-sons, Joey Vires and Todd Vires all of Clemmons; brothers, Charles Bud Sink (Audrey), Lawrence (Jim) Sink, Bobby Wayne Sink, Barry Lane Sink (Shelia) all of Clemmons; sisters, Janice Jean Forrest (Carlton) of Clemmons, Libby Gay Leonard (Bryce) of Lexington, Nancy Elizabeth Sink of Lexington; grandchildren, Bradley Phillips (Jessie), Cory Phillips (friend Alexis), Josh Phillips, Alicia Coley (Russ), Amanda Downs (Jeff); great-grandchildren, Ariel Phillips, Levi Downs, Baylee Downs; numerous nieces and nephews and beloved friends, Ken and Wanda Stevens.
