Jerry William Tesh, Sr.

Jerry William Tesh, Sr., age 85, passed away on December 18, 2023. He was born on July 16, 1938, in Davidson County to Woodrow and Kathleen Tesh.

Jerry dedicated a significant part of his life to his work as a Machine Operator for RJR, where he contributed his skills and commitment until his well-earned retirement. His dedication and hard work were emblematic of his generation's work ethic.

In addition to his professional life, Jerry found joy and fulfillment in his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Nancy McClamrock Tesh, his sons Billy and Jonathan Tesh, as well as his brothers Dale and James Tesh. Despite the hardships he faced, Jerry's strength and resilience were a source of inspiration to those who knew him.

Jerry is survived by his brother Herbert Tesh, sisters Mary Ann Mode (Charles) and Marvelle Foltz, daughter-in-law Linda Tesh, and two grandchildren. Their memories will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

A funeral service to celebrate Jerry's life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Jerry's name to the charity of your choice.
