Jerry Lee Walker

Jerry Lee Walker, 78, of Salisbury, formerly of Lexington, passed away on Saturday, October 12 at the Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury. He was born on December 28, 1945, to Alex Walker and Ruth Black Walker Thomason in Tampa, Florida. Jerry dedicated 40 years of his life as an engineer at PPG Industries. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Bobby Walker, and brother-in-law Lee Anderson.

A service to remember Jerry will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 16 at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington, officiated by Pastor Jim Parsons. Visitation will be held after the service.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years Trudy Myers Walker, son Chad Walker (Kim), daughter Tracie Walker Smoot, sisters Lynn Byerly (Robert) and Cathy Anderson, along with six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his loving sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials in Jerry's honor may be made to Milford Hills United Methodist Church in Salisbury.
