ARCADIA | Jerry Wayne Sprinkle, 58, of Washington Drive, Clemmons, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Southside Baptist Church in Thomasville, where he was a member, by the Rev. Ronald Blakley. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. Sprinkle was born June 12, 1948, in Davidson County to Lloyd Clayton Sprinkle Sr. and Willie Veigh McCrary Sprinkle. He was a self-employed logger. He was preceded in death by a son, Dwayne Bowles, and a brother, Lloyd Clayton Sprinkle Jr.
Surviving are his wife, Jean Harris Sprinkle of the home; three sons, Darren Wayne Sprinkle and his wife, Sherry, of Thomasville, Edward Bowles of Midway and Brian Sprinkle and his wife, Julie, of Winston-Salem; one daughter, Stephanie Landreth and her husband, John Paul, of Winston-Salem; seven grandchildren; one brother, Ernest Sprinkle of High Point; and one sister, Joyce Mattocks of Thomasville.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel, and other times at the home.
