Jesse Homer LeQuire, 70, of Sherman Drive, died Thursday, September 27, 2007, at Forsyth Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel by the Rev. Mike Collier of Jersey Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. LeQuire was born February 22, 1937, in Blount County, TN., to Lloyd LeQuire and Maggie Crisp LeQuire. He served in the U.S. Army, was a supervisor for Florida Steel and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by brothers, Earl LeQuire and Joe LeQuire; and sisters, Jenatte LeQuire and Joyce Napolitano.
His wife of 50 years, Loretta Sellers LeQuire, survives of the home.
Also surviving are daughter, Becky LeQuire of Goldsboro, Sandra Horne and husband, Jackie, of Lexington; grandchildren, Brandy Horne and Heather Horne, both of Lexington; sisters, Janie Watson and husband, David, Dixie Barnette and husband, Ed, and Jewell Miller and husband, Bob, all of Maryville, Tn.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
