Jewel Broadway Ennett

Jewel Marie Broadway Ennett, 88, of Brown Street, died Monday, February 22, 2016, at Hinkle Hospice House. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday, at Davidson Funeral Home with the Rev. David Langley officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30. Mrs. Ennett was born January 9, 1928, in Davidson County, to Grady Lee Broadway and Fannie Copley Broadway. Prior to her retirement she was owner/operator of Baney’s Pawn Shop. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Oscar Ennett; and brother, Richard Broadway. Surviving are nephew, Frank Broadway and wife Melissa of Lexington; stepson, Daniel Ennett Sr. of Lexington; step-grandchildren, Daniel Ennett Jr. and Amanda Ennett; step-great-granddaughter, Amy Mitchell; great-nieces and nephews, Madison, Marcus and Mason Broadway.
