Jimmie Michael Hancock

Jimmie Michael Hancock, 66, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at his home.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date and will be announced.

Jimmie was born October 29, 1957, in Greensboro, NC to Garnett Edgar Hancock and Eula Akers Hancock. He was of the Holiness faith, enjoyed spending time with his family, loved to joke around with everyone. He loved his dog, Tippy very much, he also loved reading and studying his bible and sharing and talking to others about the bible. Jimmie had a huge heart and love for everyone. His passion was his faith, church, family, and especially his grandchildren. Jimmie was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, who will be missed by all. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Harold Hancock, sister, Linda Grubb.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Maria Hulin (Kirk) of Denton, Cynthia Cleveland (Butch), son, Timothy Hancock all of Lexington, grandchildren, Brandon Morris, Devan Morris, Megan Snider, Jadyn Hulin, Kayleigh Kennedy, Kelly Thurston (Ruggie), Erin Hicks, Ethan Hancock, Blake Tysinger, Carley Hancock,  Aiden Souliyo, sisters, Mary Mitchell, Lorene Nichols, Ruth Hollifield (Tim), Stella Pierce, Nita Marlow, Bell Hancock, brothers, Fred Hancock, Bobby Hancock, and Many nieces and nephews.
