Jimmie Warren Poindexter

Jimmie Warren Poindexter 75, of Winston Salem went to be with the LORD on Saturday, May 15, 2021.

A celebration of life will be held, 5 pm, Monday, May 24, 2021 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel conducted by Rev. Robert Hutchins.

Jimmie was born in Sanford, NC to Warren Everette Poindexter and Eva Poindexter Hodges. He worked as a mechanic, he loved working on cars and fishing. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother whose memory will be forevermore. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother; Woodrow Poindexter and his loving nephew Bryan Cuningham.

Left to cherish his memory are the mother of his children Mary Poindexter, girlfriend Janice Trivette, son Tim Poindexter, daughter Tammy Hemrick (Danny); brother Clyde Poindexter (Jo), sister Carol Cuningham (Charles), nephews Billy Cuningham, Jason Poindexter and Craig Poindexter, nieces Joelle Bruzan and Wendy Long, two grandchildren Chris Poindexter, Brittany Hemrick and two great grandchildren, Leah Braswell and Bailey Hemrick.
