Jimmie Lee Shoaf Sr.

Jimmie Lee Shoaf, Sr. 65 of Hunter Road passed away Monday morning, August 4, 2008 at Lexington Health Care. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 06, 2008 at Bethesda United Methodist Church with the Rev. Doug Hochmuth officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Shoaf was born in Davidson County August 10, 1942 to Stewart Davis and Dollie Mae Foust Shoaf. He was a tool and dye maker with Tyco. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Gerald Shoaf. He is survived by his wife Gail Gregory Shoaf of Advance; two sons, Jim Shoaf, Jr. and his wife Julie and Darrell Shoaf and four grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Bethesda United Methodist Church Family Life Center, 2922 Bethesda Road, Lexington, NC 27295. There will be a visitation from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel and other times at the residence on Hunter Road.
