Jimmy Donald Johnson

Jimmy Donald Johnson, 65, passed away Monday, Feb. 22, 2016 in Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016 at Freedom Baptist Church with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-6 pm, just prior to the service and other times at their respective homes. Mr. Johnson was born January 19, 1951 in Davidson County to Delmar Wilson Johnson and Rachel Beck Johnson Dixon. He was a retired employee of Council Craftsman. Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, Mark Johnson and two sisters, LaVonne Segers and Debbie Trent. Surviving are two sisters, Linda Freedle (Rick) and Cathy Leonard (Neal) both of Lexington; nephews, Chris Segers, Brian Jarvis, Neil Freedle, Zac Leonard, Chanceller Leonard, and two nieces, Ashley Southern and Ashton Leonard.
