Jimmy Leonard Haire

 James L. (Jimmy) Haire, Jr. age 68 of Woodhaven Drive, Lexington passed away Wednesday morning (7-9-2008) at his residence.  Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday at Fairmont Presbyterian Church with Rev. J. Randy Hall officiating.  Mr. Haire requested that his body be donated to Wake Forest University Baptist School of Medicine for research. Jimmy was born in Davidson County October 5, 1939 to James Leonard Haire and Pearl West Haire.  He was a retired sales representative with The H.T. Hackney Company, member of Fairmont Presbyterian Church and a former Elder.   Surviving are: Wife, Julia Mellon Haire of the home, two daughters, Susan Haire McCormick and husband Terry of Harrisburg, NC and Anna Haire Gobble and husband Ryan of Lexington, three grandchildren, Terry Ward (Mac) McCormick, Jr., Jacob Ryan Gobble and Harrison Dean Gobble, his mother; Pearl West Haire of Lexington, two brothers, David P. Haire of Clarkrange, TN and Jerry Haire of Kure Beach, NC, one sister Joyce H.
