Jimmy Hall

Jimmy Hall, 86, of Midway, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 5, 2020. A private graveside service will be held at Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery, by the Revs. Chuck Ireson and Jeff Vogler. Mr. Hall was born August 28, 1934 to Early Alexander Hall and Grace Hyatt Hall. He retired from AT&T after 37 years and was a member of Midway United Methodist Church. After retirement, he drove school buses for North Davidson schools for 20 years. He loved his family and was always present for anything they participated in. His wife of 67 years, Betty Jean Swicegood Hall, preceded him in death. He is survived by his son, Gary Hall (Sharon); his daughter, Tammy Vogler (Mike); his grandchildren, Jessica Hall, Jonathan Hall, Alex Vogler (Courtney) and Andy Vogler; and one great-granddaughter, Blakely Vogler. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Midway United Methodist Church, 9795 Old Hwy 52, Lexington, NC 27295.
