Jimmy Gray Mahala

Jimmy Gray Mahala, age 79, of Lexington passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at his sons home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington, NC with Rev. Henry King officiating. The burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home. Mr. Mahala was born in Lexington, NC on May 19, 1937 to Gray Mahala, and Viola Tysinger Mahala. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Robinson Mahala; two brothers, Willie Mahala, and Billie Mahala; and one sister, Susie Grubb. Surviving are his son, Wayne Mahala and wife Angela of Lexington, NC; a daughter, Lois Ann Willis of Welcome, NC; two brothers, Ronnie Mahala and wife Beverly, and Richard Mahala and wife Martha all of Lexington, NC; one sister, Virginia Mahala of Thomasville, NC; and two grandchildren, Justin Wayne Leonard, and Mary Ann Willis.
