Jimmy Glenn Oakley, 75, of Lexington, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022, at Thomasville Medical Center. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Monday at Davidson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Oakley was born April 13, 1947, in Davidson County to James McKinley Oakley and Lucille Kinnamon Oakley Allen. He attended Linwood Methodist Church and was a Navy veteran. Jimmy retired from PPG. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, David “Pete” Allen. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Diana Lynn Owens Oakley of the home; two daughters, Brandi Cunningham (Rob) of Lexington, and Shannon Fowler (Bobby) of Linwood; four grandchildren, Breanna Fowler, Brett Fowler, Chase Cunningham, and Blythe Cunningham.
