Jimmy Keith Payne, 36, of Knoph Road, died Sunday, June 26, 2011, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, following an automobile accident.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2011, at Fundamental Baptist Church, with the Rev. Chris Lanning officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday June 30th at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home of his sister 3758 Old Linwood Road, Lexington.
Mr. Payne was born October 12, 1974, in Davidson County, to Brenda Sue Watford Payne of Lexington. Jimmy was hard working and a loving father and son who everyone loved and adored and was a friend to all. He was an avid UNC Tarheel basketball fan and also loved NASCAR, he loved to play basketball and other sports. He was a press operator at Chesapeake Printing, formerly, Green Printing and was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his mother are a son, Austin Nathaniel Rowland and his mother Mary Rowland of Lexington; daughter, Kaitlyn McKenzie Payne and her mother Crystal Payne of Lexington; brothers, Bruce Payne and wife, Marsha, of Winston-Salem, and twin, Jamie Payne and wife, Amanda, of Lexington; and sisters, Tammy Kelly of Lexington and Lori Freedle of High Point.
