Jimmy Mock Perryman age 76, of Hassie Lane, passed away on Saturday March 13, 2010 at Hinkle Hospice House. A graveside service will be 11:00 am Tuesday March 16, 2010 at Good Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Tom Shelton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday March 15, 2010 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel.
Mr. Perryman was born March 19, 1933 in Davidson County to Silas Trenton Perryman and Hassie Mock Perryman. He was retired from Specter Trucking Company and had served in the United States Army. A member of Good Hope United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years Patricia Mathis Perryman of the home. A daughter, Robin Cecilia Martin and husband Tony of Lexington. Grandchildren, Krystle Rae Long and Sarah Elizabeth Weaver all of Lexington. Great-grandchild, Kaidan Hunter Mock Carlton. A special sister inlaw Sylvia Welch Mathis of Winston Salem. Nephews, Ricky E. Mathis of Wallburg, Roy Lee Mathis of Winston Salem. A special friend Otto K. Prevette.
