James William “Jimmy” Roberts, 36, of Bill Lohr Road, died suddenly Monday, November 19, 2007, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2007, by the Revs. Karla Farabow and Wayne Sechrest at Davidson Funeral Home.
Mr. Roberts was born May 6, 1971, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Richard Evans Roberts Sr. and Carolyn Lloyd Batson. He was employed at Twin City Chop House in Winston Salem and a member of First Baptist Church in Grandfield, OK.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, Kaye Boswell Roberts of Lexington; mother and stepfather, Steven Batson of Norcross, Ga.; brother, Richard E. Roberts Jr. of Clemmons; nephew, Richard Michael Roberts; niece, Nicole LeAnn Roberts; grandmothers, Dorothy Duggins Lloyd and Olivia Roberts.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home and other times at the home of the father on Bill Lohr Road.
