Jimmy Ray “Jerry” Stone, age 61 of Fox Creek Lane, Lexington passed away Saturday (August 21, 2010) at his home. A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Wednesday (August 25, 2010) at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, with eulogy given by Jeffrey Fitch.
The family will gather at the funeral home, for a time of fellowship after the memorial service.
Jimmy was born December 8, 1948 in Wyoming, West Virginia to William Stone and Bernice Barrett Stone. He was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company; a veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam.
Surviving are; his wife, Barbara Seider Stone of the home; two daughters, Sandra Stone of Brunswick, OH and Tracey Garfield and husband John of Lewisville, NC; two sons, Jimmy Stone and wife Shelly of Las Vagas, NV and Jamie Hintz and wife Anna of Brockport, New York; six grandchildren, Brandon, Bailey, Colby, Maggie, Miranda and Kyle; three sisters, Ruby Sizemore of Vinton, VA, Wanda Farley of Pineville, West Virginia and Sue Wheeler of Oceana, West Virginia; five brothers, Ted Stone of Brook Park, Ohio, Jack Stone of Archdale, NC, Major Stone of North Ridgeville, Ohio, Stan Stone of Lexington, NC and Darrell Stone of Pineville, West Virginia.
