Jimmy Darrell Trent

Jimmy Darrell Trent, 58, of John M. Ward Road, died Friday, October 31 at his home after an illness of two years. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, November 5 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by Preacher Clyde Akers. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2pm prior to the memorial service. Mr. Trent was born April 5, 1956 in McDowell County, WV. He was a former employee of Sealy Mattress and a member of the NRA. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife ,of 36 ½ years, Kathy Carnes Trent of the home; his mother and step-father, Ider and Clifford Cline; his sons, James Trent and Jonathan Trent, both of Lexington; his daughter, Jennifer Potter and husband, Brandon, of Lexington; four grandchildren, Savannah Everhart, Kendall Wishon, Matthew Trent, and Lynley Potter. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
