Jimmy Russell Wicker

Mr. Jimmy Russell Wicker age 68, of Lexington passed away Wednesday March 9, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. A service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday March 12, 2011 at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Wellborn & Chaplain Sheree Jones. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from one hour prior to the service. Mr. Wicker was born December 6, 1942 in Chatham County to Cevil Russell Wicker and Dorothy Lee Lemons Wicker. He served in the United States Army and retired from the US Postal Service. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife Marie Carlton Wicker of the home, his mother Dorothy Lee Lemons Wicker of Siler City, his daughter Nicole Greene (Tony) of Ramseur, NC, his sister Janice W. Oldham (Russell) of Siler City, his grandchildren Ashton Brooke Greene and Joshua Chase Greene. In lieu of flowers send memorials to: Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, 3631 Mt.
