Jina Simpson Dimery

Jina Simpson Dimery, 30, of Eastdale Drive, died Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at her home after a serious illness of one year. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Bethany United Methodist Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. Allan Van Meter. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Dimery was born June 15, 1977, in Stanly County to Cecil Wayne Simpson and Melanie Morris Simpson. She was a homemaker and a 1994 graduate of Central Davidson High School and had training for special-needs children. Mrs. Dimery was preceded in death by her son, Travis Dean Dimery. Surviving are her loving husband, James Dorsey Dimery of the home; her father and his wife, Patricia, of Albemarle; her mother of Lexington; three sons, James Andrew "Drew" Dimery, Brandon Dorsey Dimery and Tyler Gene Dimery, all of the home; a stepbrother, Terry Sells and his wife, Bonnie, of Albemarle; her grandparents, Doris and Charles Brooks of Lexington; and her mother-in-law, Patricia Dimery of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, and other times at the residence of Patricia Dimery on Eastdale Drive.
