Joan Leonard Bodenhamer

Joan Leonard Bodenhamer, age 88 of Lexington entered immediately into God’s presence early Sunday morning, December 15, 2024, at Bermuda Village of Clemmons.

The family will not have a formal visitation, but a private family service will be held later.

Joan was born in Davidson County to Willie Alex Leonard and Edith Smith Leonard. She was a member of Faith Church.  She is preceded in death by her parents; sister Mildred Wall; brother-in-law Dale Wagner; and son-in-law Greg Nifong.

Surviving are daughters; Angie Nifong of Clemmons, Jackie Raynor of Lewisville and son; Greg Bodenhamer (Angie) of Winston Salem; sister Janice Wagner of Morganton and brother William Ronald (Pete) Leonard (Peggy) of Winston Salem, NC.  Grandchildren; Landon Grant (Natalie), and Heather Reid (Zane); great grandchildren; Mia, Mackenzie, Lacey, Brody, Aubrey, Caleb and Cameron.

The family would like to thank the staff at Bermuda Village of Advance, NC and Trellis Supportive Care of Winston Salem, NC for taking care of Joan.

Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
