Alma Joan Woodle Inman, 77, of Riverview Boulevard, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at Brian Center of Lexington.
A private service will be held at a later date at Jersey Baptist Church where she was a member by Dr. Mike Collier.
Family and friends may visit at the home of the children.
Joan was born in Davidson County on Oct. 28, 1933, to Howard Woodle and Kathleen Coppley Woodle. She was former co-owner and operator of Riverview Grocery with her husband, David Hugh Inman, who died Oct. 27, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Linda Woodle Hedrick and Charlotte Woodle.
Surviving are one daughter, Deborah Moody and husband Donald of Lexington; two sons, Randy Inman and wife Lisa and Joel Inman, all of Lexington; six grandchildren, Donnie Moody, Brooks Moody, Jonathan Inman, Charles Inman, David Love and Beverly Love; and six great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Moody, Christian Moody, Lucas Moody, Kala Love, Hannah Love and Hailey Love.
