Joan Coppley Myers

Joan Coppley Myers, 81, of Regan Road in Lexington passed away Tuesday November 12, 2024 at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday November 20, 2024 at Jersey Baptist Church where she was a member, with Rev. Paul Baston and Rev. Mike Collier officiating services.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Jersey Baptist Church.

Mrs. Myers was born April 4, 1943 in Davidson County to Chelsie Lee Coppley and Bertha Beatrice Cody Coppley. Joan enjoyed playing softball, and she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Austin Coppley and Lewis Coppley Sr.; and five sisters, Louise Lookabill, Elsie Starr, Betty Jean Surratt, Carol Ann Kirkus and Rachel Hamm.

Surviving is her husband, Roger David Myers Sr. of the home; two sons, Chris Myers (Lisa) and David Myers (Jennifer) both of Lexington; one daughter, Angie Everhart (Chadd) of Lexington; and one sister, Evelyn Swing (Bobby) of Lexington; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
