Joan Lea Kramer Wood

Joan Wood, 77, of Bremen Drive passed away Friday October 7, 2016, at Lexington Medical Center.   The funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday, at Davidson Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Pearson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home.    Mrs. Wood was born on April 25, 1939, in Randolph County, WV, to Ernest Noble Kramer and Edythe Mae Rightmire Kramer. She was retired from the American Children’s Home where she served as finance director for 33 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Elkins, WV. Her parents preceded her in death.   Surviving are her loving husband Charles Robert Wood of the home; son, Robert Scott Wood and wife Beverly Ann of Knoxville, TN; daughter, Lori Craven and husband Timothy of Lexington; and brother, Stephen Kent Kramer of New Jersey.
