Joann Dorothy Cromer

Joann Dorothy Hall Cromer, age 78, of Lexington passed away at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington on April 10, 2017. A private graveside funeral service will be held with Pastor Daniel Downing officiating at Volunteer Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Pinacle.Joann was born April 16, 1938, in Forsyth County, to Maude Bennett Hall and Paul Jim Hall. She married Paul Daniel Cromer in 1957, they were married for 60 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved gardening, working in her flowers and collecting dolls. Joann was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Ronald Gray Cromer and Ronnie Dean Cromer; and a grandson, Carson Dean Cromer.Surviving are her husband, Paul Cromer of the home; son, Danny Cromer and wife Donna of Lexington; daughter, Christy Cromer and husband Jason George of Lexington; great-grandson, Jacob Cromer of Lexington; two step grandchildren, April Brindle and Mark Young both of Lexington.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
