Joann Weaver Mize

Joann Weaver Mize, age 78 of Carolina House, formerly of Greensboro Street Ext. Lexington passed away Sunday morning at Lexington Medical Center.   Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at CenterPoint Church with Rev. Barry Surratt officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.        The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Monday night and at other times at home of Regina and Michael Warren and Joel and Vickii Mize.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Joann was born in Davidson County, January 20, 1935 to Joe Clayton and Arlene Call Weaver. She was a retired employee of Lucia Textile. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Max Lanning Mize in 2012 and a sister Phyllis Weaver Rogers.   Surviving are, her daughter, Regina Warren (Michael) of Lexington; her son, Joel Mize (Vickii) of Lexington; grandchildren, Nichole Mize, Caitlin Mize, Ethan Mize, Cassandra Underwood and Phillip Warren; great-grandchildren, Maggie Warren, Avery and Mackenzie Hughes; brother-in- law, Bobby Rogers of Lexington.   Family suggest that memorials be directed to, Carolina House, 161 Young Drive, Lexington 27292 or to Alzheimers Disease and Related Disorder, 3800 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC  28215.   Online Condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
