Joann Jarvis Ziglar

Joann Jarvis Ziglar died unexpectedly on Friday, September 21, 2017, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Lexington, NC at the age of 76. Joann was born on July 29, 1941, in Forsyth County, NC to Charlie and Agnus Cope Jarvis. She married Clarence E. Ziglar, Jr. in 1968 and resided in Winston Salem and Lexington, NC until her death. Joann was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Lexington, NC. Joann is survived by her husband of 48 years, Clarence E. Ziglar, Jr.; one daughter, Patsy Ann Ziglar, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Phillip W. and Holley M. Ziglar, of Johnson City, TN; one sister, Ruby Brendle; one brother, Charlie Jarvis, Jr.; and one sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Eugene Bowman. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Shelby Jarvis Foster. A funeral is scheduled for 2:00pm on Monday, September 25, 2017 at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Lexington with visitation prior to the service from 12:30-1:30. Pastor Avery Varnadore will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Joann's life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lighthouse Baptist Church, P.O.
